The news of the day is the problems oil is bringing to everyday Americans. Today George W. Bush went on his weekly address and tried to pass the blame again. Three days after the President of Chevron went on Wolf Blitzer and cried about HOW HARD big oil has it right now.

 

WHAT. A. LOAD. OF. SHIT.

 

We got into this problem because Bush did not lift a fucking finger back when he should of. Where was this call for action in 2001 with Enron? In 2006 when gas prices started rising quicker? Where was the blame game then? Oh wait, big oil was making a shitton of cash and had no opposition to what they did. Now, with gas passing $4 USD and going to $5, they want to shift the blame.

 

Typical fucking Republican bullshit. If you read the interview article with the president of Chevron, he says all their investing is in supplies, and increasing refinery storage. NOT DIFFERENT ENERGIES. NOT HYBRID ENERGIES. NOT ANYTHING USEFUL FOR THE COMMON PERSON. Add this to the fact Bush wants to open up the drilling lands should tell you something. It does - it says all they want to do is stockpile MORE OIL. TO KEEP THEIR PROFITS SO FUCKING HIGH.

 

And in a word - NO. I refuse to let them do this again. Bush (AND HIS DAD) were Presidents during times when big business, namely banking and oil, have run unchecked. That stops come November, and they know it. The president of Chevron only wants more oil to STOCKPILE. Bush DESPERATELY needs a victory from something for his party this November. NO TO BOTH.

 

Some folks are saying we need to do both - drilling and new energy. BULLSHIT. Leave the gulf alone, ok? This year the dead zone in the gulf is at a record level, and drilling is not good for the environment. And last time I checked, OXYGEN is more important than OIL. And if China wants to try angluar drilling (45 degree drill angle) to tap our oil fields in our waters, then blow the drills/pipes up. Last time I checked, Cuba and the USA have distinct borders for offshore waters, so let them try. It is the same bullshit China, North Korea and Iran throw in our faces.

 

If we going to spend money, then spend it on something with a direction to the future, not the same old shit. You got money to "buy supplies", then get your ass involved in Wind. Solar. SOMETHING other than what gives you record profit.

 

If oil has money to push for this, they they can push for energy change. But that is not what fuels (ha pun!) the profits, so you will not see big oil do this, even if it is the right thing to be doing right now.

 

I would rather have $6 gas, and the hope of solar and wind coming online in ten years rather than drilling our reserves and wetlands to maybe get 1/10 of what we use. And either way, it will take years. So rather than just do the same old shit, if we have to wait then I want to wait for a BETTER SOLUTION. WIND. SOLAR. FREE GODDAMN ENERGY. But that is the problem for big oil. NO MONEY.

 

Aw, TOUGH SHIT. You assholes have put us in this mess, now we will get ourselves out. If you lose money 4th quarter, tough shit. My electric bill went up $100 for NO GOOD REASON THIS MONTH, so stick your bitching up your mistress' ass. Male or Female I don't care.

 

And now that there is a sentiment of "FUCK THIS SHIT", notice how Saudi Arabia and Iran suddenly care. If your biggest customer tells you they are trying something new, you would be scared too. GOOD. About time those fuckers got to feel what we feel. Hard to build nuclear power plants and enrich urainium without profit, isn't it? And to the Saudis: we still have not forgotten the fact Osama Bin Laden is still at large. He is royalty in Saudi Arabia, and maybe common Americans are tired of footing the bill for a man who attacked Americans and killed 3000 of us. The Middle East likes us at their whim. Not so much when Americans decide enough is enough. So fuck the middle east. They know without us, they will just blow each other up in the "name of Islam". Another fucking joke there.

 

America has plenty to do here. We can bring back our military and start fixing shit HERE, not in Bagdad. Roads, Levees, Highways, Buidlings, Schools, Factories - PLENTY TO DO HERE. Since Iran and Saudi Arabia have so much fucking oil and oil money, they can foot the bill THEMSELVES for their wants this time. We bring back our troops, then we use our own resources to fix our roads, fix our schools, beef up law enforcement, and many, many other things. FDR figured this out in the mid 1930s. But since you can't brand it for political credit, the concepts he fathered got pushed to the side.

 

 

What Iran is not thinking about, and Saudi Arabia is, is that America can really live without OPEC. We have our own reserves and technology, so maybe we don't need your fucking $150 a barrel oil. Again, we are going to have to wait either way, so let's wait for Solar and Wind to be implemented, NOT TO WAIT FOR A QUICK FIX THAT IS PROVEN NOT TO WORK!

 

It is 1930-1937 all over again folks. And until that is acknowledged, drilling on Pluto will not help. Bush will be remembered as the worst president since Taft and Harding, and he derserves it. He served up this country to big business, the Republican party, and to whomever would pay the tab. Notice that is something common people can't do. We have spent the last EIGHT YEARS behind the fence because of Bush, and now he is trying to blame everyone but himself because of it. I spit at that.

 

Osama Bin Laden attacked WTC because he wanted to disrupt the Amercian ecomonic model. HE SUCCEEDED. Look at how life is now compared to 2001. Between that, AN INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT, greedy big business, and now mother nature, we are getting the lesson Osama wanted us to learn. What scares them is that, like Americans are known to do, we will OVERCOME. We understand that sometimes you must change the model or the model stagnates. And this time, there are enough people thinking like this that maybe, just maybe, we can make that happen this time. We can change the model. AND IN OUR FAVOR.

 

I am not calling for Isolationism; we are still good friends with a lot of the world. But I am calling for the declaration of the "new way". A life without big oil and foriegn interests telling us WHAT TO DO, HOW TO BE. Nah, let's overcome again, and put the onus back on them. Besides oil, what does The Middle East offer? DEATH. INSULTS. A religion I personally question (Islam). An low tolerance for us. So ok, you win. Let's roll out and THEY CAN DEAL WITH AL-QAEDA IN IDAHO. Or Al-Qaeda in Prague. Or whereever. You think we suck? Deal with the shit we do. And then watch the fools cry then.

 

But fight this talk of offshore drilling. It is just talk, nothing more. Wind and Solar MUST COME, and if we have to wait, let's wait for something that helps us, not the interests of everyone else. God Bless America, because we will overcome this too. Big Business be damned.

A: BANK WITH CITIBANK.

 

I just got off the phone with Citibank. NEVER BANK WITH THIS COMPANY. NEVER.

 

I have a few credit cards, just like everyone else. I have used them, just like everyone else. I had a specific Citibank card that I DID NOT USE. This was my emergency card. It was the "WHEN YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT" card. The card you hold when you have to get by that one month, and then you would be fine.

 

Today, Citibank FAILED ME. I leave my house, bills in hand, ready to be responbile. I stop by the ATM to pull some money off my emergency card. Half of the the maximum amount I had on this card in fact, just to show you I am NOT draining this fucker. My card gets rejected. I call the automated service. ZERO BALANCE. NO PAYMENT IS DUE. ALL OK HERE. So I get ahold of customer service to see what is up.

 

It seems, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, CONSENT, or REFERAL, that this account was closed. A letter, DATED 06/08/2008, was mailed out to me about this. I should get it in the mail Monday or Tuesday. The account was closed because Citibank is bunch of scared chickenshit girls right now. Even though I have been paying on time, because I have a balance on my other Citibank cards, they decided that I should NOT have what I earned. So they shut the account down, with NO WARNING.

 

Matt, CAPTAIN ASSCLOWN, manager DO NOTHING EXTRODINARE, was of no help. All he said was that once I was considered a "Good Customer" again, I MIGHT BE ABLE to repopen the account.

 

WHAT. THE. FUCK!?!??!

 

How I have NOT BEEN a good customer? I make payments, I don't incur fees, I AM NOT LATE, I am responsible with my money. So because EVERYONE ELSE IS STUPID, I suffer yet again.

 

This is the SECOND TIME this has happened with my credit this year, AND I AM FUCKING SICK OF IT. God forbid I would have needed the card for a MEDICAL ISSUE. I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO FUCKED THEN. I am sorry the rest of the world sucks with their money, but I DID NOTHING TO WARRANT THIS. 1700 USD credit card goes POOF! ALL BECAUSE I TAKE CARE OF MY CREDIT?!?!? WTF?!?!

 

I am tired of people who don't know JACK SHIT about my finanaces deciding what is good for me. FUCK YOU BANKING ASSHOLES. QUIT TOUCHING MY FUCKING MONEY. STOP DECIDING MY LIFE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. FUCK YOUR PROFIT WHORING.

 

I learned a HARD LESSON with Citibank today. The lesson is NEVER TO TRUST THIS BANK AGAIN. Yeah, you will see my balances get paid off REALLY FUCKING FAST now Citibank. The last bank who did this got paid off in under 4 months and was told to FUCK OFF AND DIE. Citibank is now the next one.

 

I will never use this bank again. Bank Of America might be painful to work with (their APR is bad on my line of credit), but at least they have been completely straight with me. When I want FOOD ON MY TABLE and LIGHTS ON IN MY APARTMENT, BoA has not yanked the rug out from me. They have been there.

 

But Citibank? Oh, NEVER AGAIN. I have to have a bank behind that is willing TO TRUST ME. Citibank is not that bank.

 

As an American, HOW IN THE FUCK am I supposed to survive with these scared suit and tie jackasses? How am I supposed to achieve success and financial stability when THE BANKING INDUSTRY stabs me in the back? This is not fair. I earned that card. I am a responsible money handler. To be treated like this insulting. To be talked to the way Matt talked to me today is insulting. But I bet the head of board of directors at Citibank does not get treated like this. I bet his cocaine and whores are covered no questions asked.

 

If you show no confidence in the ability of your customers, why are you even in business? Now you why I am with Obama, no excuses. THIS SHIT MUST STOP. The beating down of the lower and middle classes MUST STOP. And the Republicans who have sat on their thumbs while food, gas, and energy prices have gone through the roof, they also MUST GO.

1)Getting back into the swing of things employment wise. I have assignments starting very shortly, so I will be back knee deep in code and data once again. Nothing too drastic mind you, but the pay should be enough to let me recoup my expenditures of the past year back very quickly. Hey buddy, those TNA tickets don't pay for themselves!*

Or the fact that Sean Shirk HAD NO BUSINESS being in the main event for UFC 84. Or hearing B.J. Penn say, "I was only talking trash to hype up the fight!". Or better yet, check out this week's Ultimate Fighter, where the SAINTS trash the house AGAIN. What, that is like 4 times now? And you fucktards whine about the unprofessionalism of EliteXC? Fuck off. UFC is hardly the bastion of ethics and morals.

If he spent half the time he does fawning over Chuck on actually meeting people half way, UFC would be way bigger than it is even now.

 

I don't know about you, but I would have kicked Tito's and Jeanna's asses out in front of everyone. Your contract is up and YOU LOST, so go away and I will consider Tito viable again WHEN TITO WINS A DAMN MATCH. First amendment? That pisses me off. Because UFC could have invoked the SECOND AMENDMENT to kick them out. I give UFC some credit for just letting the baby have its bottle, but this is just another thing that UFC does wrong. So where are the complainers about stuff like this? Kimbo was sponsored by a porn company on the Internet. Tito is DATING AND IS IN BUSINESS WITH a porn star WHEN HE WAS UNDER UFC CONTRACT. So for all you assholes complaining about Kimbo's past has better look at UFC PAST and PRESENT before opening their "expert" mouths. The Yahoo! writers and ESPN writers can really SUCK MY DICK on this topic. Be fair, or shut up and take the defeat like a man. Oh wait, NONE OF YOU ARE MEN., not by the way you "writers" suck off the UFC. I am so happy EliteXC succeeded this weekend. Clean it up (NO MORE IRON RING BULLSHIT!), lose the boxing purists who are trying to stay important, and have some better time managment, and EliteXC will get better.

 

Again, to all the UFC nuthuggers, FUCK OFF, SHUT UP, and realize your lord Dana makes mistakes. That 5.0 (4.9 or so) could have been Dana's. But when you do not give up an inch, expect the foot to walk away.

 

4)Been playing the PSP game Beats, and let tell you, it WASTES, WASTES, just about every other rhythm game out there. The ability to use my own MP3s is genius. Especially playing the game with Sony issued MP3s. The God Of War Chains Of Olympus download is bad ass in Beats. The Uncharted Remix by DJ Shadow is even better. And yes, that "Good" is the mp3 of the Microsoft E3 2007 theme.

 

Also on my PSP, Echochrome. If you want a English UMD, haul it over to play asia and purchase the Chinese UMD, as it has ENGLISH text and screens. And the PSP is region free. You will want those extra levels. I do, provided I can get past level 5! This game is fucking brilliant. And I can not say how much fun it is. GPM was stunned when I was not playing Patapon. I showed him Beats and this and he understood why.

 

Not much on the 360, but what I did do is very ironic. I have been playing a TON of Oblivion lately, and lo and behold, Yahtzee reviews it. And you know what? HE IS FULL OF SHIT about it too. To say that this game looks the same tells me you should have played for more than a fucking hour before wanting to jerk off over the Silent Hill 2 box. To hear him say that makes me lose a ton of respect for him. I just finished the "invisible troll" quest in the game, and you are fucking stupid if you think the mountains look like the forrest in the game. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING STUPID man...

 

Seriously, WORST REVIEW YET from him. It shows the utter failing from him - he just wants stuff to bitch about and draw some homoerotic bullshit using Windows Movie Maker to what he bitches about. Whatever. Oblivion is still a fine technical achivement to this day, and fuck the jaded reviewer who can not figure out what scenery looks like. Here is a hint - PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT THE SNIDE ASSHOLE SIDE OF YOU INTERFERING. Or buy a REAL TV FOR MAKER'S SAKE. Because his review is just utter shit this time.

 

5)One quick note about the YFZ nutbars here in Texas - If you talk about being "persecuted", then perhaps next time don't fucking lie and confuse the judge. Persecuted, my ass. Those Pentagon contracts paid for good lawyers. But now, now your little world is gone. Pull this shit again, and maybe next time ATF goes in instead. But don't be evasive and not answer questions ABOUT WHO IS RELATED TO WHO and expect the courts to like you. It doesn't work for normal folks either. Sympathy play, and the lawyers are it up.

 

If you think I am too harsh about this, ask yourself, would you send your child there? I did not think so. Persecuted? You notice they WILL NOT answer any important questions concerning age and marriages, but give them a microphone and suddenly they turn into chattermouths and cry foul. Remember, they still have not changed ONE THING ABOUT PRETEEN MARRIAGES IN THEIR CHARTER. Not one word. When I see the sect change its ways, maybe I will believe they are being unfairly treated.

Want to know why this pisses me off? Let the data from the PA guys show you:

 

Top 4 XBLA launches over 3 days (from PA):

#1 RezHD, 25k units
#2 Ikaruga, 22.5k units
#3 PAA Episode 1, 16.5k units
#4 N+, 13k units

So they sell the game for $20, and their fanboys eat it up. What kills me, KILLS ME, about this "gross" claim is that the only reason they got that title is because they jacked the game up to $20.

 

Let's do some math, shall we? Say the game was $10. At $10 it only would have made 165,000 USD, which still would have been 60,000 USD behind Ikaruga, and 85,000 USD behind Rez. It would have only been 35,000 USD in front of N+.

 

At $20, the game only made 80,000 USD more than Rez, and only 105,000 USD more than Ikaruga.

 

Even at $20, and for being Penny Arcade, it still only sold 3500 more copies than N+, WHICH WAS A FREE PC TITLE.

 

If they sold the game at $10 USD, they might have had enough extra sales to pass Rez, and still have the highest XBLA gross in doing so. You would think that PA, the guys that like to break other game developers' balls about pricing, would have considered this. But no, they had no confidence at one price point, and so they just turned the knife in the back of XBLA.

 

Face it fanboys, this game is not everything you are making it out to be. Not even. And it took jacking the price up to $20 USD to even pass more solid XBLA offerings, which include two Dreamcast conversions (and Gamecube for Ikaruga, and PS2 for Rez), and a game which was FREE ON THE PC. I know, I play that one.

 

So before you think that this is a quality game, just remember how they got to that mark. Bullshit and statistics mix together easily.

 

So they can trot out as many "look at us!" posts at they want, but it took ripping off the XBox Community to get there.

 

No way in hell is this game worth $20 USD when Rez sells for $10 USD - when every other five star game on XBLA is $10 USD. But because people nuthug PA like a heroin addicted porn fluffer, they get to make announcements like this. Those people ruin it for the rest of us. Remember, YOU HAVE DO THIS THREE MORE TIMES FOR THE WHOLE GAME.

 

And we bitch already about $60 RETAIL, ON DISC TITLES, so where is the backlash for an $80 NON-RETAIL, NO-DISC TITLE? You are being jacked and you are letting them do it to you.

 

And as for that rumor about them dropping Episode 1 to $10 USD when Episode 2 comes out? Big deal, you still paid $20 in the beginning, and $20 for each fucking new chapter. That is not a bargin. If you could do that to begin with, then pricing it at $20 shows us that PA wants they money first, community respect second.

 

You will see PA take the blueprint I pointed out on Major Nelson, Sam And Max, and rape that too. They will sell this at retail for at least $50 because YOU IDIOTS PAID FOR IT TO START. Well, I will pass on the entire game. Since they liked to compare this title to Bejeweled, let me do a comparison of my own:

 

The PA game is nowhere the value of Rez, nowhere the value of Prince Of Persia, nowhere the value of Marble Blast Ultra; all of which are HALF THE PRICE, TWICE THE PLAYTIME of the PA game. Think about that. And to get even near that value, you have to buy the episodes THREE MORE times... suckers.

 

You play Prince of Persia twice trying to get the 12 hour achivement? In that same amount of time, you played your ENITRE $80 NO RETAIL, NO DISC game ONCE. And the PA game has very little replayabilty compared to the replayability of Prince Of Persia.

 

PA nuthuggers plain fucking suck. They do. And their fandom ruin XBLA for the rest of us. And for those who think I am harsh on PA about this - PA was one of the vendors who had content for sale on XBox Live when the 360 launched. They have been money grabbing since day one. Now you know why I think PA can jump off a cliff. They preach one way of being a gamer, then do the opposite when they make a game. They can fan service the world all they want, but in the end, all they want is money, money, money.
